Radio fuse advice needed...
My radio had begun to flicker and then finally went dark.
Thinking it was a loose wire somewhere i pulled it out and used my multimeter to check for power and ground. Had ground but no power. Replaced the fuse under the driver side kick panel but no luck still. Used the multimeter to check for juice at the fuse but surprise it was dead aka no juice with key on (or off).
To get by, I put a piggy back fuse on the cigarette fuse and ran a hot wire to the radio and I’m now back in business.
Q: What can I do about the dead fuse at box? There was a little corrosion on the fuse and I suspect in the home slot as well but a little crd sprayed there made no difference. Has anyone else experienced this?
thanks in advance.
