Junk yards for parts
#2
most of those places are too over priced, unless you know someone there. Usually you cant by misc. parts but they make you buy the whole assembly, which kind of blows, especially if just need an exterior part. I tried to purchase some rear door handles, but they tried to make be buy the whole unit, interior and all. So I said" Ill take my business eleswhere!" and they laughed at me, but I got the last laugh, because I work for the city zoneing commision department for industrial and business. Lets just say, there not to happy now.

Applause!
Same problem happened with me.... Lettuce you just made my day by whatever you did to them. So you get a big hand shake for doing that over the net since I can't do it in person. Wish I could of seen the look on their faces..

I have to give out this web site or maybe this is already common knowledge but I found this site that allows you search through a database of used parts from part recyclers all over the United States. Here's a link.
http://car-part.com/
I've never shopped from them but my searches have successfully found what I was looking for.
