looking into the intake manifold with the throttle plate open.

what you see are the venturi of the intake plenum.



am i right?

Why not, he already polished the outside. Polished port for better air flow Now Ryan and Jessi will be really busy for the next 6 weekends .
Those butterflies inside the plenum will open at certain RPM for better air flow,by using the engine vacuum.

How did you polish the engine anyway? I would very much like to do that cool mod to my engine!

Thanks Hameed! I'll be posting pix very soon. I used a number of different things, but the main tool was an air powered die grinder with varying grits of sandpaper from 120grit up to 1500grit... oh, and then there was the buffing compound!
