Default Please help car dosent run right

Ok. i have a 2001 lexus gs300 with 188k on the odo. it refuses to go past 70mph on the interstate, it barely accelerates, when i floor it the car wont go out of first, and it hesitates. i have already changed the fuel pump and the filter along with the mass air flow, spark plugs, and coil packs. tranny runs a little funny but ive checked the fluid multiple times and its still toyota red with no shavings, checked oil and no shavings so can someone for the love of god please tell me wtf is wrong with thing because if not unfortunately i will have to sell it and that is the last thing i want on my mind.

Do you have a CEL, and if so what are the codes?

Sounds like the car is stuck in limp mode.

As mentioned your first step is to grab an OBDII reader and scan the code. That will give us more information as to what the problem is. However, you mentioned the car stumbles when accelerating and while I have a GS400 I remember distinctly the feeling of the throttle body going out. While I don't know the code yet check the throttle body. All you need is a multimeter.

Default So I might be slow

So recently I changed a motor from a beat up outer shell of a GS300 01 model, and swapped only the engine wire harness, the motor, tranny ,and drive shaft into a roller essentially. The roller was the special edition with manual option with steering wheel controls for the gears. It will not go over 70 unless I’m going down a hill and that’s with throwing it in the “manual” mode and with “ECT PWR” on your make it run as hard as possible. It has a perfect idol but when you go to move it into gear it immediately trips the “VSC” light and says that it is off and the manual mode “M” on the dash just flashes and doesn’t allow me to control or show me what gear I’m in other than the basic icons. Over changed spark plugs, plug wires leading to the boots have all been stripped and re wired, new wire plugs, fan cools but when it kicks on it damn near kills the car I think that might be a grounding issue not sure though because i have pictures of all the original spots I took from the other car and redid them on this one. I’m gonna keep attempting to figure it out. Someone suggested to clean the oil valve filter and oil valve, which I’ve done with a degreased called “purple stuff which pretty much ate away all the oil build up theg had on them and the filter was a little dirty and cleaned that too it helped and but dyno most deff feels a difference in acceleration, but it still doesn’t do over 70. And I know I need codes but I think the OBDII port in this is FUBAR’d, I tried hooking up one already and it never gave the reader signal to even turn on. Please help I’m going crazy. First time doing something like this and I really like this car lol

So I have so far fixed my OBD fuse that was causing me not to be able to get correct scans. I have 12 different codes, p0300,p0301, p0304, p0305, p0306, p0125, p0141, p0500, p0715, p1300, p1780. Im guessing that Its a couple of my coil packs failing, so ima see if I can’t double check those wires and see if I can fix this issue might start looking into a new wire harness getting kinda old having to chase back wires.
