GS 300 Steering Wheel Volume Control Info
Well since I bought my GS back in March I had seen a couple of threads about this but nobody had any answers, if it will work or not. I took the cover off the side of my wheel and found the connector plug for the controls, so I ordered the switch set and the cover. Got it today and no go.
I have a guy that claims he can get me the wiring diagram so I can chase down the wires and see if they are connected and also see if the E-Shift uses the wires to pass through the steering wheel. If I I can change the E-shift wires over to the Volume control I will as I don't use my E-Shift at all, I have only played with it once or twice, waste for me, would much rather have the volume control. I will update as soon as I have more info. I got them at body shop cost of around $170
so hopefully I can make them work.
