2002 GS300 SportDesign with 90k
Is someone is looking for a lower mileage 2002 GS300 SportDesign in Graphite Grey Pearl Exterior and Black Interior, this AUDI Dealership in New Jersey has a One Owner car available.
So far they have not posted any photos, or their asking price, but I thought it might be of interest to someone here.
Lexus Specs for this VIN: JT8BD69S420172523 in the attached PDF.

WOW - Was Serviced at Lexus Dealership
This car is one to check out!
It was serviced at Lexus Dealerships its whole life including as recently as 3/2019 when the car had 85,924 miles.
The attached Service Records also show the Timing Belt and Water Pump was done 11/2016 when the car had 75,063 miles, though no comment on Cam or Crank Seals.

My View
It shows the previous owner cared for the car and was willing to pay to have it serviced.
Add in the timing belt and water pump (in 2015) which would cost $1,000 to $1,500 within the past 15,000 miles.
To me this is a well priced car, assuming the pictures and an inspection does not reveal any major issues.

Yeah, I'm with flash on this. People always go "ughhh so expensive, you can get these for $3k", then they're in here with a bunch of electrical problems, suspension shaking itself apart, faded paint, trashed seats, opaque headlights...
If I didn't want to waste time reverting a high mileage car to decent condition before modding it, I'd definitely cough up an extra 4k or so and spare myself the headache. If someone seriously wants a good condition GS, they'll have to pay at least that much fixing up a cheaper one, or they'll have to compromise on something else.

You can have your opinion (everyone has the right), but I am of the mindset that paying a little more for a car that was; a one owner car, and routinely serviced (at a Lexus Dealership), is worth a $1k to $2k premium.

As for rust, it did spend its whole life in NJ, but only averaged 5,000 miles a year, so maybe it was not driven in snow and ice.
Again - Photos and an Inspection is really needed.

I don't think it's that bad of a price. More than I'd be willing to spend, but it's a dealership after all. You always pay a premium from a dealer. Private seller, sure, a good $1-2G's cheaper. But why would the dealer even mess with it if there's no profit to be made? It's for that guy that just has to have a pristine 2GS and has the money and been keeping his eye out for the cleanest, lowest mileage one possible. Might not be people lining up for it, but I'm sure they know it will sell fairly easily.

Very nice find. I wouldn't pay more than around 5K for the car though and think you could probably negotiate with Audi down to around 6K. Sitting inventory is not in the dealership's interest so after 90 days, they may just take it to an auction and get 4-5K for it. My worry would be all the suspension parts since they go bad with age and mileage no matter what the mileage and other problems like. I'm doing the same as Saiyan; keeping it as a daily until I find that car I want to drive on the weekends or a little more. With my car, I'm just scared of an accident happening because a chance of total loss is higher since ins. companies like to go with book value. lol
