redoing my gs4 project or not???
hi hi guys . i have a gs4/nav 1999 . sliver/black. i bought it 2 years ago for around 35k . i have explosion and 19s gawalt evo2.. tein cs .. plus all 2 phoenix gold titanium amp and two phoenix gold titanium sub .. also installed clarion dvd system on front and back seat.. everything seems perfect .. but seven months ago .. i repainted my car with porsche polar silver.. .. but the color didn't match on GS .. the color just don't look good on the car.. (poor quality of paint job also..) ... and now after a few months of saving .. i finally got 10k to redo my gs project again... but everyone is opposing me to repaint it.. all my friend said ..this car is old and going to have a new Gs to come out.. it isn't worth to invest anymore money on this car.. but i already bought a veilside rear bumper and Lsportline roof spoiler .. it is sitting right in my garage...and i want to see my perfect GS .. so what should i do guys?? worth the money to repaint or wait for the new gs???

Honestly...I say its your money and you earned it so you should do what you feel like!!!...Put it this way, because I speak from experience...If you never get to finish your GS the way you want to, even after you sell it, it will haunt you
Just a thought but it's strictly your choice...Good Luck!!!

well think about a couple things like payments 4 example, why wait till next yr and get the new gs than need 2 wait 4 a while 2 hook that one up cus thier won't anything out 4 it yet... i figure get yours all fixed up how u want it , u will b happy... than when the new gs comes out our gs won't b outdated 4 at least another yr or 2 so u have a total of 3 yrs 2 pimp u'r gs and still have people think its hot and new, than get the new gs and actually get it cheaper cus it will b 2 yrs old .....well i basically gave u my plan. i pretty much done with mine and will pimp it 4 2 more yrs than if the new gs is hot than get it after the 1st or 2nd yr. it will b cheaper and usually the 1st model of a new generation isn't the best as the 2nd yr from what i know and have heard.. so good luck...

Good choice. The GS is still a sweet car and like bluelex said, you still have a few years to enjoy this one. The third year of the next model would be a good time to switch if the next GS is still on your list at that point. You also have more mods to choose from at this point. Support for the new model probably won't start right away.

It would help if you posted what you want to achieve with the car. More power? More handling? Or are you just looking to repaint and maybe do wheels? For a good paint job and some nice 20s + tires, you'll be close to or at your 10k mark anyway. If you wanted a little more oomph (maybe to counteract the 20s), a TC would be good.
So many mods, so little time (and $).
