They are a Japanese import thing. Likely you will have to pay a premium for a used set. I looked into them, can't justify the price, but that's just my opinion.

Every time this topic comes up, I think about whether I'd be tempted to pull the trigger on a set if I were to find one that I 100% like. For what they cost, they'd better be perfect to my liking. Thus far, every set I've seen for sale has some design feature I didn't like, so it's been a moot point.
I'm not sure I can get over that hump of paying $600-1000 for something that is purely for aesthetics and doesn't provide any enhanced functionality nor restores something previously damaged. Not to say I won't ever do it, but that's kind of where I draw the line for now.
Likewise.
My current stock tail lights don't look old fashioned enough for me to drop $500-$600 on some custom acrylics.
Don't get me wrong, if they were in the $200-$400 range then maaaybe.
I'm torn; like seeing a really ugly chick with a crazy body.
check out buyee.jp, a proxy buyer where you can bid on yahoo japan auctions...It's where I got mine from, I did some research after I won the auction on yahoo japan auction proxy buyers, and buyee is one of the sites that charge higher fees/shipping so it might benefit you to search around. All in all, buyee was pretty easy to navigate and bid on items.
I won the auction for 22,000 yen, which is about 290 CAD (220 USD), and 120 CAD (90 USD) for shipping.
P.S. Also got some clazzio leather seat covers from there as well, won the auction for about $70 and paid roughly $200 for shipping.
I’ve wanted a set of these lights for a long time but they’re insanely expensive on the LS and SC. One of our vendors from the SC400/SC300 section can make you a set of these lights. Their work is incredible! Their name is Organized Garage Status.
