Head Scratcher...Replaced Door Actuator, power lock still not working?
So I know door actuator problems have been posted 1000000x times, however I can’t seem to find anyone that has replaced the actuator and still have the power locks not work.
I replaced 3 actuators today. Passenger front & rear and driver front. The passenger front/rear work fine as expected; however, the driver front is unresponsive to the power locks and key remote lock/unlock.
Ive had this same problem with the driver front for a while. It’s like I never replaced it at all. I noticed that when I use the power locks, I can hear the other 3 actuators working but the driver/front - no noise at all. I can hear the door ecu clicking though. I double checked and made sure everything was installed and plugged in properly.
Is there anything out of the ordinary I should be checking? Or did I just buy a broken actuator? If I bought a broken actuator, shouldn’t I still hear it attempting to work?
