Cool Took some more pics of stereo trunk setup @ night.

Well after spending an hour detailing the inside of my car and cleaning my leather seats for the upcoming meet, I decided to take some more pics of my trunk setup at night. I only wish I had a better digital camera to really show how beautiful this setup is. Special thanks once again to Gilbert at 818 Motoring for his hardwork...he also goes by the name "audiogil" here on the cl.

Great pictures Ken. It's very true...the pictures don't do the justice. I can say it's about 300% better in real-life. Where is Gilbert anyways? Haven't heard from him for a good while. Tell him I said hello.

Gilbert has been real busy working on several project cars. Has no time to put in some extra goodies I want. . Anyway, his latest cars were a red BMW M5 and a Silver Mercedes C320 ( full interior suede) which were at HIN last week. All I can say is that I'm glad he used my Lexus first as his demo car. I will see him Thursday so I will tell him hello for ya.

Default Thanks!!

Thanks everyone for the props...

Lexis11: golf clubs huh? Shoot, I couldn't hit the ball straight if my life depended on it...

GS4fun: The project took close to 7 months. It started out as just a drawing, then the planning started. Buying all the materials, cutting of some metal in the car and building the fiberglass pods took the longest part. There were some design flaws that had to be redone because the panels were not fitting flush. After all the equipment was bought, then we had to run all the wires and cables. Also, 2 layers of dynamat extreme was put throughout the trunk. The final part was the custom order of nova suede which took nearly 2 weeks to arrive. At $70 a yard, (needed 10 yards) it was important the Gilbert didn't make any mistakes with the suede. With equipment, materials, parts, and labor, the cost was over $10k.

Awesome job and looks great. I think its worth 10K+ for all the equipments and the labor they've put in this baby
