Default OBD scanner for non USA models
Hello,
I wand to ask you non USA members what OBD sacnner do you use. I have 1998 GS300 and I dont want to waste my money with non compatible scanner.

i use a bluetooth elm327 obd adapter and the torque pro app.

I use a tachyon for toyota using its own software. The bluetooth drops having to reconnect a lot.
got on amazon about 2 to 3 yrs ago. Jdm aristo 99 jzs161

Hi! which parameters do you use in the initialization string on the torque app? Thanks in advance

JZS161 (V300 Aristo from Japan) uses a JODB protocol over the OBD-2 fysical connector and not any OBD-2 protocol, thus using the ELM327 won't work.
