Default shaking, rough idle and stall at low RPM GS300

Hello,
so I was driving like normal but then I stopped on intersection and the car started shaking like hell and RPMs started to go up and down, it sounded like it is running on 3 or 4 cilinders but no light on dashboard was on, but when I started driving it went away and it sounded OK. I stopped at a parking lot and the car stalled, so I started it back on and from that point it behaves normally, no shaking, no wierd noises and smooth idle. I am thinking maybe the Gearbox ? it has 145k miles.

Sounds like a MAF or throttle issue. If it persists it will throw a code or two and give you more to go off of. Let us know.

Default Rough idle and jerking when driving

Hello,
About two days ago my car started to shake at idle and the RPMs st arted to going up and down. At one point the car have stalled on me. It only do this sometimes and wen it is warm and i have no CEL. So far i cleaned MAF, throttle body and OCV without any results. To me it also feel like the car is sometimes stuter when driving on constant speed. Spark plugs are new.

Sounds like there's a vacuum leak. Check the air resonator box for hairline cracks. It can get brittle over the years due to its location next to the exhaust manifold, so pay extra attention to the underside of the box where it's taking the most heat.

I cleaned MAF, throttle body and the OCV and its filter. Happend once after the cleaning so I ordered new OCV for like 20 dollars. Still waiting for the delivery but the car is driving smooth for like 3 days so far

I found out, that it only does this when it is fully warmed up and when i put AC on it is a tiny bit better. Also when i start it cold the RPMs spike to 1500 for about a second or two and then drop dow to normal idle

I had a similar issue, I was driving, everything normal, took an exit off the interstate and my gs300 started “stuttering” my rpm levels went down to about 200-300 rpm and back up seemed like the car wanted to stall. I was low on gas and the gas light was on. I immediately went to a nearby gas station and filled up thinking this was the problem. Started the car after the fuel up and it did the same. Got home trying to keep the rpm levels high (braking and giving gas at stops) and hooked up my code reader, said misfire on cyl 6, by this time it was late at night. Next day I decided to troubleshoot any vacuum lines and whatever could be the cause. Ended up being the spark plug in cyl6 as I removed it, it dripped water down. I replaced all 6 spark plugs and cleaned each area I just got the car no more than 3 months ago. Since doing this I haven’t had a problem since. Figured this is something anyone could check first before anything. No spark=no fire= rough idle
