Default My custom made 6pot brembo’s

Hey guys wanted to show off my custom brembo brake kit I had engineered for my gs300, couldn’t find a kit so had a mechanical engineer build one for me... turned out awesome just have a few other things that need to be done on my car first and then I’ll be installed these :-) turns out these will fit gs,sc, IS since the steering racks behind the stub axle and not on the front like the supra’s.

Wow. That’s wild. Srt8 caliper and you made it forward facing. How did you get the brake line to work?

custom braided brake lines, abs still works as well but I’m not using it as I’ve done an Aristo swap on my car.

I would but the engineers that built this kit said if there isn’t a kit out the for what I’ve done, that I should sell the kit myself. It does consist of a bracket off the factory mounts and a custom RCA. Everything was laser and CNC cut. I can get more of these made when ever... I’m sort of thinking of just selling the brackets/RCA, I’d make more money selling the full kit as in, Callipers, rotors and brackets, but then it become a pretty big operation with shipping

Nice job with the custom setup.

If you do go down this path, you probably don't want the hassle of selling a full kit. Between the upfront sunk cost of sourced parts and the shipping costs from Australia, you'd be better off keeping a leaner operation with just the brackets, RCAs, and mounting hardware with no more than a handful ready to ship. You mentioned custom brake lines due to the caliper's position on the spindle, so that also needs to be accounted for either on your end or the customer's end. Also, people are going to be particular about their choice of rotor or pad.

The other thing you would have to contend with are competing options. There are the run-of-the-mill LS400 and Supra upgrades, the XAT Racing LS460 upgrade, and the 350phi adapters that support calipers from the four-piston IS/GS350 Advics all the way up to the six-piston RC F/GS F Brembo. I went with 350phi's adapters last year.

What car came with the Brembos that you used? 350phi mentioned the SRT8, but that doesn't look the same as the ones I saw on eBay. If your calipers can be obtained for less than the six-piston Brembos from any of the Lexus F cars, then I think you might have a solid sales pitch, especially for Aristo and GS owners on your side of the world.

your bleeder screw upside down??

looks like mopar calipers
pn: 68146610AA right caliper
pn: 68146611AA Left caliper

but you can use them how ever side you want as long as the bleeder valve is up right.

so it's a one-off kit for sale? you can release the dimensions so other can get them cnc cut. looks to be 10mm thick steal plate. cut with four holes.

with out cost of the brackets being made I paid $1000 aus for everything. But that’s why I’m thinking of just selling the brackets. Less fuss to deal with.

yes bleeder is up side down, I sent a right caliper to the engineer and I got a Lexus wrecker to send a stub axle to the engineer and he sent a left to him and not the right. Engineer said it wouldn’t matter.

yes it’s been made for me but not as a one off, I personally don’t have dimensions, that’s all kept by the engineering shop. But I paid for all the R&D so I’m not just gunna give away what I made. The kits is simple but there are MM of precision with cleanses and my mechanical engineer is a specialist with brakes, I’ve puts over 100k in my Lexus. engine is capable of over 800whp. So the price of investment of making my own brake set up is worth it for me.

Hey guys been contacted by admin and what he has said is understandable. As I’ve said I’m not sure if I’m going to sell the kit and it won’t be sold on here. One of the reason I didn’t go into details about the hole thing and didn’t show how it all works. Any question that seem like your interested in buying this won’t be answered as I do you this site to see what’s going on in the gs300 world.

in Australia we pay around 30% more for all our goods. A $300,000 lambo is almost 700k here. A turbo you’d pay 2.7k for we’d pay 3.7... my exhaust is worth 4K alone and has $900 in vbands in it’s with one of the best hiflow cats money can buy... 20k in paint and body... rims were 4K my gearbox was 6k without shipping my engine swap and make 850whp was 25k and that’s only a few things that I’ve done... powder coating and ceramic coating 4K.... every thing on my car is custom... my paint job is 1of1 can’t get it anywhere Ohw and most mechanical shops charge $120 bucks an hour for labour and dealerships charge more. Factory oil change at Ford is around $600 bucks!!!
