I pay a $14000 premium just because of where I live...you don't want to know how much i pay for insurance....and no points....

I guess Newark as having one of the highest theft rates in the nation doesn't help...

But what the hell..its only money....don't hate....compensate!

BUt crime in Newark is absurd. I refuse to take my car there (Acura CL) cause I know my headlights would be gone the second I turn around.

And like everyone said, the best idea you'll get is by getting a ballpark figure from your insurance. I pay 2400 a year for my car and its not even in my name. But then again, my car has headlights that seem to disappear, I live somewhat close to Newark, and I'm only 17. If it was in my name I would be paying over 5k a year.

My insurance rate, as a partial drive, on a 99 GS400, runs me 900 a month. I am 20 y/o. so i pay 1800 a year, and i have tons of points on my license. GRRRR!!!

i think they accidentally selected M for Maserati instead of L for Lexus in their drop down menu when they quoted you that. 1st step in trouble shooting price mismatch when buying service for a Lexus.
