Do ya mean something other than a faulty Starter? I got a re-furbished starter.

Gonna sound silly but check the fuel level as sometimes the sending unit and leveler are stuck and won't pick up fuel. Another spot to check is the ecu ignitor fuse on the driver side fuse box. I've learned to check these from experience

If it cranks strong then I'd spray starting fluid into the throttle and have a helper crank it. If it starts, you have a fuel issue. If not, spark checkers are very cheap and you can check for spark the same way. Btw, is this the I6 or V8?

How many miles on the car?
One day my son's fuel pump quit. Like it started the day before but not that day. If I recall correct he said they typically quit around 200k miles. His had 250.

It took longer to remove the back seat than to replace the fuel pump. As in the fuel pump was not hard at all to change.

Same thing happened to me after a month of owning a 98 GS300. I had a parasitic draw and have resorted to leaving my negative battery cable disconnected until my multimeter arrives and I can verify what is drawing power when the car is turned off.

(Apologies for not introducing myself in the thread yet! Will do it by EOD!)
