1998 GS 300 Wont Crank
I bought this car a day ago and drove it home just fine, there were no issues with the car. Before I bought it the car would not start but it started when the owner rolled it down his steep driveway. I drove it home then and figured it was a starter issue.
I replaced the starter and now the car still does not crank or start. The solenoid is clicking so its working and the voltage on the battery was 12.5V. The relay also seemed to be working and I was getting ~0.9 OHMS on the 1 and 3 connectors, the 4 and 5 I was getting 0.
Anyone know the reason, I'm thinking it could probably be a bad fuse but I'm not sure which fuse to look for to find it.

The test is to use a helper and look for ignition switch voltage on the small terminal of the starter while cranking. If you are getting voltage when the helper turns the key, the starter is the issue. If you see no voltage, there is another issue to go after.

I had similiar issue. Try starting the car repeatedly and see if it starts. Mine started after a couple of tries, I took the starter out and pulled out the megnet switch shaft. Turned out the power terminals (28226 and 28226A) were lose and sideways. Readjusted them and retorqued them and it now starts as a champ.
