I have really wanted to replace my drivers seat leather, but the price seems really high, almost 4 figures for both front seats. I would really like to find a car with the black interior to a swap but every single GS I find has the same tan interior as my car. And the leather is really getting thin.
What’s your opinion on the quality? Did u do do both front seats? How does it match?

I have ordered the complete kit from Leatherseats.com. I called Tim (sales manager) to finalize my order. He started talking about the OEM airbag bracket flaps that are on their kits. I had no idea what he was talking about. Then I saw this post. It is expensive for the entire kit. The kit comes with both front seats, console, back seat and 5 headrests. They were able to not do piping. Double stitch matching parchment color. I was going to get perforated for 75 more, but installers talked me out of that as it wears faster. I was told by one of the installers that they will sell any piece of the kit. It takes 4 weeks to build the kit. I am shipping my console to them because they would do the console for 100. Local shops wanted 175 to 300 for the console. Complete kit was $1099.

This is from my experience with another vehicle platform but...

I have personally purchased real leather replacements from leatherseats.com and the quality and fit is outstanding.

I know no less than a dozen people who have also purchased from leatherseats.

LSEAT on the other hand, I know a dozen people who have been slightly disappointed with the fit of the replacements. Every person noted that the overall fit left something to be desired. Even after sun/heat exposure or steam the leather never fully tightened up.

Leatherseats by contrast. My seats and those I know / have seen. They all tighten to a firm, factory fit.

My seats were 650 +/- for full front surface leather, 2 front buckets, headrests and arm rests.

1250 seems to be the average for full front face leather front and back seats, head rests etc...

Best money I've spent on a rig I have with 250k miles. Drives like new and now the seats look new.

Old = left - New = right

All the installers I received quotes from did not have good things to say about the fit from Lseats.com

I heard the same about Lseat as well. One installer simply said to avoid them, while another went into more detail saying the fit wasn't good and I forgot whether she said it was the stitching or the leather itself, but it ripped upon installing.

I agree a bit baggy. as you can see in pics. But its not that noticeable in the car. My only problem is the color is slightly off. Even after using the sample pack.
I think it will last a long time. The stitching on this set was very well done.

Leatherseats.com is located in my city but I never got around to taking my car to them. They were very well respected in the SC community back in the day though.

I would love to redo my seats and arm rest in my GS and SC though. The LSeat replacement looks good.
