thanks for the research. you're right, it looks like the Y pipes are the same.
The Tom's muffler looks narrower and it clears the tow hooks by alot...if you got this setup you wouldnt' have the problem that i'm having....its a litle annoying but it can be fixed.

I don't have the Tom's exhaust yet -- these pictures are from another member's car, just to be clear. Seriously looking into it very soon, though.

Post some more pics of the Kimura setup when you have a chance...

Default Does anyone know of a Powerful but Quiet exhaust?

Thank you for dealing with my NewBee questions.

I want to keep it a luxuryyy car and not sound like a souped-up Civic. Deep, Throaty, but Very quiet.

Thanks..

anything specific you would like to see on the exhaust setup? I'm planning on working on it next week to get rid of the rattling against the tow hooks. I wish i can post up audio files but i can't get a realitic recording of it with my iPaq palm top.

Go Borla or L-Tuned.. Both are nice and deep but not loud and annoying...

The Kimura exhaust system is from Carson Toyota. Contact Steve Ganz (SUPRATRD) to get a price.
It retails 1300 dollars...
As far as i know...i'm currently the only CL member with this setup...would be nice if someone else got this setup so i can compare notes.

From the creator of "Final mod of the summer 03" ...

Comes "The Final mod of the summer 04"

Presents the Carson Tuned Mid Pipe.

Complements the first parts of the mod nicely. Its got a nice additonal tone to it.

See LXOGOOD's Thread for more details.
