It is below trade in price. Since you said 90,000-mile service is done, that's another $1,400 saving. If you are currently driving a SC400, make sure you like less HP if you don't plan to modify the GS3.

Go for it Dennis!! My 96 with the same mileage has a book value of 13,500 or something, so thats a great deal.

Although I cringe at the thought 2 black modified Lexus vehicles UNCLEAN!!! (you know how YOU get down)

just a side note...you could get a 98 gs4 w/ the same or even less miles for around 17k.

hmmm thank you. I am waiting for the guy to call me back.

gs400998: the GS will be taking place of all the beaters I've sold. Not that the GS is a beater.. but it will be my daily driver.

DGOT20s : he he he. No mods on the GS. daily driver man... daily driver =)

koreanpears: I want the GS3. More fuel efficient. When my SC reaches age of retiring I will probably do something to the GS.... and GS3 is easier modified than GS4

bluelex: left a message for the guy. So he should be calling me back.

Well it's a bit harder for me I guess since the only color combination I will take is black/black combination.

Actually, its not more fuel efficient. I started a post a week or so ago, asking others what they get for gas mileage. Our gs4 gets 28 mpg on highway and 21 in the city....so far nobody else even gets close in the gs3. Simply because the v6 has to work harder to get the car moving. The v8 doesnt have to work as hard. Now i know we wont always get 28 on the hwy, but i drive conservative...

I also would be driving conservatively..... btw... the GS3 is an I6
but when the time comes I think mods will be cheaper and by far more readily available.. that's the reason I'm going with the GS3.

I was surprised by that result but I am not going to dispute it. But to be fair, no one else, even the other 400s, could touch your numbers either.
