I have a 2000 GS300 & am going to replace all the exhaust gaskets except for the manifold gaskets. What are the bolt sizes for everything starting from the cat all the way to the mufflers?
Thanks All
I truly appreciate the knowledge & help

I'm pretty sure they are 14mm, but you never know unless you look. Should be able to handle whatever is there with hand tools. Wrenches and a ratchet/sockets. Unless you have a high rust vehicle, you may need some PB blaster and a hand torch.

I gotta do an exhaust job fairly soon, I live in the rust belt and I'm gonna need the two rear muffler-to-resonator gaskets and a downpipe-to-resonator gasket. All of them flaked off and now I've got gaping holes in all 3 spaces. Not entirely sure how those bolts are gonna come off, they look like ***** of rust at this point.

While impacts guns work, the problem with using such force is that they may break (heavily rusted ones, I mean). That is something I do NOT want to do at all, thats a day-ruiner 100%. PB blaster will help free them up though, so hopefully they won't break.

In my experience, muffler shops are very inexpensive by comparison to most automotive related services. You may just want to let them handle it. They deal with that stuff all the time.

I had the exact idea of doing that, buying the resonator piece (if I need it, of which I probably will) and then just going to a muffler shop. Like I said, I do NOT want to have a broken exhaust bolt. At least that would save me some stress if something does go wrong.
