I will not have the car until this coming Friday, we just settled on a price this weekend. The seller had already sent some photos to me. So, I'll drive up on Friday, check everything out, and have the Lexus dealer check it out also. Hopefully, everything will go well this week and I will have a new toy (finally).

My .02. Sounds like you got a great deal on the car though. Good job, and welcome to the family.

Hey, nice deal on that beautiful car. Welcome, friend. One question, are you sure it has Levinston audio without Nav? I was very sure all the car either has Levinston/Nav combo or none. Unless the owner want to special order, which is very unlikely.

Thanks for comments guys. Carfax checked out fine, and the service records from the Lexus dealer look good. The car is four hours away, so I'll have a good chance to break it in on the way home.
Most of the 430's did come "loaded" with the Levinson and NAV bundled together, but the Levinson was available as a single option.

I know how you feel buddy. I'm still on a cloud : Last week I drove from San Francisco to Burbank (500 miles) to pick up my Baby. We do what we have to right? I think everyone here @ CL is the kind of person that gets what they want.
Assuming you mod; What is the firt thing you are going to do?

Congratulations.
I was looking for a Gs430 2001 but there weren't too many in New York. I settled for a 2000 GS400 w/ 50k miles. I paid $27,500 with every option available (not CPO but I have the service records). I had it 2 months now and the only thing I did to it so far is take off the paint on the grille to bring out the chrome. I don't want to do anything to the car yet because I just want to sit and enjoy looking at it that way it came out of the Lexus Plant. Once I get through the fall and winter I should be bored of the way it is and start hooking it up just in time for the spring season.
So just take a few months and enjoy looking at it that way it is.
