No rattling for me. As for temp, I have not done any testing so your guess is as good as mine. I got it mainly to clean up the engine bay a bit. I did not hear of any drawbacks and since there is a potential plus of the heat dissipation, I figure it would not hurt.

Thumbs up

Mine does not rattle.
The instalation was a easier than stealing candy from a baby.
Remove the intake elbow (two 10mm bolts or Phillips screw driver for the clamps, then one 14mm bolt toward the rear, drop the heat shield, use the enclosed 14mm bolt for the front and you are done 15 to 20 min. max including wife's interruptions)
As for temps, no noticed difference in the temp gauge but I guess that it is functional.
It keeps the heat away from the intake elbow area.
It looks very neat, clean and as stated before, it completes the engine bay.
I must also say, that my heat shield is the latest version.
It is all one piece with no gaps or spot welds.
The look is PRICELESS.

Good morning

YOUR ENGINE BAY.IS AWESOME!!!

I'm trying to get the elbow and heat shield, for my stock GS300 not doing any engine mods for performance I just want a basic clean look and was wondering if you can share with me the company that sells the items.
Much APPREICATED
THANK YOU
