Im currently in the process of swapping out my oem orange-ish wood grain trim for the Blackwood interior trim you would find in only a sports design around here. I was able to score a set of the trim from a aristo and all the door panel trim fits perfect, but the new trim doesn't fit correctly around the shifter and leaves gaps all around because it was made to fit a rhd dash. Does anyone have a usdm or lhd Blackwood shifter bezel for sale or any other solutions to this?
So when u separate the wood trim from the main center garnish (the painted grey center piece) it doesn’t swap directly over to the JDM piece? That’s weird? It seems clear from what i have seen in the past, that the right hand drive center piece won’t work in a left hand drive vehicle, but I had always assumed it would be simple to unbolt that piece and swap it over. Can u post a photo showing the issue your having?
so the 2 grey garnishes aren’t identical except for the Right Hand Drive Vs Left Hand Drive? I have always figured they were interchangeable, but I guess I haven’t actually tried switching them. What is different between them?
