Does anyone know if the 2nd gen GS has a glove box damper? My glove slams down when I open it but Incan’t find any info on a damper for the vehicle. Thanks in advance. Brian

They do come with one, and it’s easy to overlook when reassembling the glove box if your not careful. Usually it just gets unhooked from one end and will probably still be in there, just needs to have the arm clipped into position. Seems like there are 2-3 bolts along the top of the jam, and 2-3 more along the bottom, once u pull those out u can pull the trim down and hook up the dampener before putting it back together correctly.

Weird. Not seeing one on the schematic of the glove box. Guess I’ll take it apart and have a look.

It’s kinda difficult to tell in that schematic, this was the only thing I could find real quick that showed a little better
