Haha! No need to hate. Just remember that silver is the easiest to clean -- looks the best at night when city lights shine over.
Do you notice that most car commercials feature silver cars w/ tinted windows? silver not black, white, blue (sorry bluelex), etc.

silver is the easiest to clean. Also, it's the best color to show a car's body lines and bodykits (other than VIP cars, most bodykit makers don't advertise in black. Mostly silver, white, or other bright colors.)

Love the silver, 3rd to Blue, then Black. But I will not buy one!
Here is why, Silver is the most popular color in the market, it's the best represent color in all ads. Almost everyone has this color, as someone just posted the ads for BMW and Lexus, don't forget, GM/Ford have silver also, I had a Chryler K-Car in silver, mostly silver, since the hood rusted and the trunk lit faded after 12 years HAHAHA!!!! This kind of sentiment gives me a sense of undesirious to have something that EVERYONE else has, causes it to be 'normal' or 'regular' or 'expected' or 'figured'. This doesn't change the fact that it's still undeniable that Silver looks best when driving through the downtown district @ night with lights shining on it, makes chics scream with joy when they see a pimp ride like Silver rolls pass. (ask 2001HiTechGs3 and PaulGS439, they know all about how to get chics' attention in Atlantic City with their silver bullets GS')
No hating here, just don't feel for silver after I got my Spectra Blue

Here are both of my significant others!! 1999 Alpine Silver GS400 (that's what it's called in Canada). Those pics are now over a month old and I have since replaced the tails with the 01 style and added the L-tuned decals to the front fenders and the rear. I will be doing a minor brake upgrade (replacing the rotors with Brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors and brake lines with steel braided lines. Already bought this stuff, just waiting to get the time to do the install.). I will take more pics after the rotors are replaced.

loose screw! I think he fixed it now! These are old pictures from last meet (5/2003). Jimmy (hitech) is extremely good with his mod.... if you haven't seen his new CLK turn signal mod on his baby... do a quick search... Sweet!
