Default Colors, Colors, Colors

Its funny all these posts are going on cause you get to see everybody's bad *** cars cause they are tryin to rep their color.

Silver-what I wanted and the color I was originally lookin at when I was looking at 2nd generations back in 2000. Easiest to clean and always looks clean, but seems to be one of the most popular GS's, there are 2 downstairs at my work right now.

Champagne-close to silver but not as common, hides the dirt well and always looks good.

White(diamond)- Usually is pretty lame unless it has the pearl in it like the GS, pretty easy to clean, I like.

Black- A pain in the *** to clean, shows everything, shows swirls, would drive me nutts, but if you are able to keep it clean it looks proabably the best.

Blue- Seeing Bluelex's car, the color is unique, and always looks good when clean.

Right now I am debating colors of what I want to choose for a 2nd generation GS, its like I drive alot for work and I like to be driving my nice car most of the time, not sure if I am gonna buy a beater like vehicle, so the Diamond white or Silver seems to be the color for me. Black would drive me up the wall, and I already have Champagne so its time for a change, Blue I have a blue car already so not really sure if I would clash my garage, but I am diggin Bluelex's car............

Your description about the color advantage is right on the spot. Black is best if you are AT LEAST quasi- obsessive compulsive regarding your car's cleanliness. Otherwise, silver always looks good with 1/2 the workload of black. That's why I love silver <-- I'm not that lazy, I still handwash my car at least once every two weeks, and hand buff + wax it once every 4 months.

That is definitely lazy!!!!

I wash mine once a week and wax it once a month minimum. Yes, I am "quasi- obsessive compulsive regarding my car's cleanliness"!!

But I still can't get it to shine with a deep lustre like Black paint does! Dam!

not lazy, hameed... try grad school...
besides, not everyone has the luxury of having lots of free time... and I'm far from being obsessive compulsive...

I was just yanking your chain. I am sure Grad school takes up all your time.

I don't have lots of free time either. I just deprive myself of sleep to take care of the car. With a family and two kids and two jobs - trust me I don't know what free time is!!!

You are right Bob-Nosebleed city

In that pic the car is sitting especialllly HIGH. Heading out this morning to RMM to get the exhaust for her. The next buy will be for coilovers for both cars

So, it's a work in progress. I guess it never ends huh. Everytime I turnaround money is flyin out of an already lean bank account
