Any one put RX330 18" rims on thier GS?

Ive been checking around Trying to find some stock rims for my 99GS400. Im looking for the 17" Chrome.. Like everone else i guess

I have a post in the classifieds allready

Ive noticed on ebay - Large (17-18) inch RX / IS rims are cheaper than stock 17" chrome rims on the GS, not to mention easier to find - and they are new. What are the differences? Does anyone have these on thier GS? The stock 18" Rims for the RX330 look awsome! just wondering if anyone had - I did search and didnt come up with too much - Id be thankfull for any info.....

I was thinking about putting the RX 18's on my GS and sell my 19's -
Im pretty sure they would fit on a GS, not sure on the width of the rim though

what do you guys think-you think they would look good on a GS

$1000 isnt that bad for OEM one's

Looks good to me. There are rims out there that look exactly like that going for 4K.

Why would you sell your 19's for 18's?

RX Rims on a GS

The problem with the RX rims is that the offset will probably not work on a GS. Secondly, the center bore on the RX will be larger. Third, they are too narrow for a GS4.

The IS rims will fit, but again they are too narrow for a GS4. The 16 GS wheels are 7.5 and the 17 are 8, on the IS the 17 are only 7 wide.

While they may be a cheaper alternative, they are certainly not the best alternative...I would not recommend it.
