well tonight i said goodby to my gs300 (1999) silver /black int. i drove home a 1999 silver /gray int. gs400 !!!! its fast!!!!!!!!!! i has hids ,heated seats , factory spoiler ! and nak stereo ( my pioneer sounded better ) soon thats the first thing replaced ! i wish it had nav but looked forever and got good deal so got it cause my 20s on it and no one knows the diff !!!! (once i register it ) the only thing about it is under acceleration at first it makes 2 knock sounds ??? not like engine more like suspension or motor mount ? has warranty but any thoughts of what it could be . also steering feels loose my gs3 had 40 k miles this has 55k miles shouldnt be any difference ??? lexus said gs400 has lower suspension and may cause that ? will a steering ecu fix it and what mods should i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one last thing i had 6000k hids in my old car what do they look like in the yellow fogs ? ugly if so ill be selling them ! thanks alot guys feels like in writing a book !

 

Congrats on the new car, check out Hameed's GS, he has HIDs in them (but removed the yellow).

 

they told you that a GS4 as lower suspension than a GS3?

 

yeah thats what they said but it looks the same just seems a little loose ? any tuning tips on the nak mine sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

about the suspension... i'm almost positive that it's teh same in both the gs3 and gs4. but I used to notice when I went to CL meets that my STOCK gs4 seemed a little lower than the stock gs3's. my guess is that the V8 engine in the gs4 is a little heavier than the inline 6 of the gs3.

 

thats what im thinking as well cause it looks a little lower in the front the gs300 i had was 4x4 tis is a little better once i get it registered im ordering teins ,exhaust (dont know what kind any help would be appreciated ) and srt ecu and intake !

on the last pic the front wheel seems to be pushed out alot, am I just seeing things?

 

thats weird but its on there and tucking ( or will when i lower it ) i also just did the diy chrome grill and clear corners ! and 01 up taillights lots of mods for getting it yesterday maybe buy clear fogs and put my 6000k hids to put them to use !

 

I am sorry but there is no way that front wheel will tuck under the fender when lowered
