Someone who works for the company (Lexus)-sorry I cannot give you his name, but CL members here in Chicago know who he is sent me this email today. I know it's nothing much but I wanted to peak your curiosity it's comforting to know she's on American soil. All of you on the West coast keep your eyes open for any spy pic's

I emailed him back with lots of questions. Here was his reply:

"Hey Jim,

That pic you sent is indeed a doctored up HPX. Doesn't look anything
like
the new GS. The new GS is lower and longer. I don't know about power
output or performance. I do know the base eng will be a V6. What
struct
me the most is how clean the car is styled and the interior of the
vehicle
as well. I would say the best looking Lexus or Toyota yet. Doesn't look
like anything esle that Lexus or Toyota has come out with. Nice set of
wheels as well. Lets just say I can't wait to get mine!!
The hybrid RX was there as well. That has some performance as well.
Faster that a BMW X5 V8 and gets 36mpg in the city."

Man it sounds good, and doesn't sound like this is bull crap at all. I can't wait to see the thing, I am kinda excited, now I don't know if I am going to get rid of mine for a 2nd geration, I might just get the 3rd when it comes out ahhahaha we'll see

Sounds promising ! You should ask him did Lexus keep the quad lights in the front. I hope they do !

You guys are killing me.... I am saving money for house and don't think I can afford to change another car soon. But things happen......hopefully I will hit a jackpot or CA lottery....

thats a good idea, could u email him and ask if they kept or changed the headlight scheme...? PLEASE. i hope they didn't...

yeh please email your friend if the 3rd gen GS will keep the quad headlights, to me it is a must for a GS!!!
