Default Electrical problem

Sometimes I go out to start my car and I’ll put the key in the ignition and the steering wheel comes down but when I turn the key it just dies. I’ve always just popped the hood and wiggled the positive cable on the battery and it restarts. Then it starts no problem normally sometimes I’ll have to wiggle the cable again and a couple times it’s cut out while driving. Do I just need to replace the connection for the positive terminal?

If you're able to wiggle a cable it sounds like it isn't tight. Try and tighten it up. If you're able to move the cable with your fingers on the post, it's probably not making a good enough connection.

Yea I turned the nut on the connection all the way and it’s still loose so I can’t tighten it on there and I’m able to take it right off too

Best solution walk into a dealer and buy 90982-05040

Or remote the plastic piece from the terminal and cut away the part that gets pinched as you tighten the nut.
