Angry No crank...no start...fuel pump constantly runs ..

okay if anyone has any suggestions i have the 98 lexus gs300 had her for a while .. recently i've been having a key immobilizer problem i checked the ecu for any faults and checked the fuses everything is good but the secuirty light keeps flashing sooner down the road it was determined it was that the ecu wasnt the originial to the car and it has no data i have a locksmith who will make me a key with another ecu .... one night i was checking the fuses and ecu from the engine and under the steering wheel and eveyrhting was good when i tried to bypass the system the way i normally the efi relay wasnt clicking then i checked the connectors and relay again tracing a wire from the battery 12v and now i hear a buzzing sound coming from the fuel pump it will constantly keep running with key in the off position , acc and on position causing the car to not crank the starter is good battery is new alternator is good no issues with the car before i had started messing with the car that night it would crank even when i would bypass the security system ..... i just ordered a used ecu and when i put the key in the ignition the sound isnt there but when i try to crank it the fuel pump is constantly running but doesnt crank only when i turn the key over to crank if anyone has any ideas or suggestions what could be going on that would be great

You might find it has something to do with the ignition or possibly the shifter. They have a special mode to prime the fuel rail upon start up. That’s usually the only time u can really hear the pump. It should only last a few seconds though. I am certainly not an expert on the 2JZ, but hopefully this is a direction to start.

Oh wow, my fuel pump runs with no key in it as well. I also get interior chimes when I'm not in the car and my main engine relay constantly clicks.

right not really sure what could have caused it i bought a used ecu off ebay and the sound was gone until i would put it in the crank position , it would do the sound so i replaced the starter relay and the contacts to the fuel pump relay were stuck now it cranks but no signal from the key to the ecu im not sure why

Default 2nd generation lexus gs300 1998-1999

does anyone know if the ecu are the same for the lexus gs300 from 1998-2005 they all look like the same fitment but i hear they have different codes looking for ecu that is compatible to the 1998-1999 lexus gs300 and if anyone has a idea where they can bypass the key immobilizer or the car anti theft system light that conitnues to blink

Yes, the face lift brought ECU changes. As far as I know they can be interchanged though. I had crank in the morning and security light went out and in the evening the security light stays and and it won't even crank anymore.

Believe it was you that contact me on facebook.
If it wasn't you, then the question is did you get the key with the new ecu as a pair?
You can't use the key you have to the original ecu and expect it to bypass the immobilizer.
