Hello, New here first time posting, I have a 99 jzs161, 2jzgte, A340 trans. I was driving, overtaking to be exact when suddenly my engine lost all power. The Low oil light came on, however I had recently changed my oil (about a month and a half prior) made sure there were no leaks, oil filter secure etc. I'm unsure as to what could be the failure, however I've been speculating that either my oil pump or oil level sensor has gone bad. Note: my crank pulley was a bit wobbly when I serviced it and parts have been ordered, but I have been unable to go home and troubleshoot to see if it separated. Not sure if this would have anything to do with it.

 

I had a similar occurrence on my GS300, lost all power under WOT turned out a rock had somehow taken a tooth off of the crank pickup. Shop had the car for 2 months before I took it to Lexus dealer, dealer had if figured out in a couple hours.

 

Right on, I didn't even think about this, ill be sure to check it when I get back to the car, thanks for sharing bro!
