Exclamation Red dash brake light coming on over and over

The red dash brake light(same warning light as the e-brake light) keeps on coming on every time i press remotely hard on the brakes, and more recently it comes on when cruising at 30-40 mph and i let my foot off the gas, but it cuts off when i come to a stop, my gs's year is 1998, does anybody know what is happening?

Check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir.

Change bulbs. LED lights cause this as well due to the lesser resistence

I have a glitch on my 03GS300 where the actual rubber pad causes my e-brake light to come on. My fix was remove the rubber pad on the parking brake.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the light-out indicator?

If your brake fluid starts getting low, it’s usually cause your pads are getting thin. When you throw a new set of pads on, your brake fluid level will increase. So that light is also kinda of a warning to check your pads
