Hi everyone. Yesterday my wife bashed the driver's side mirror on a post on a parking garage. My 2000 GS has memory mirrors. Does anyone know if I can replace it with the much cheaper non-memory mirror? Thanks for your advice.

i personally havent heard of a conversion like that, if you want to get rid of the memory part im sure it wouldnt cause any computer problems if you put a different mirror on there, but i dont know any company that sells mirrors that dont have the motors inside, another cheap option would be to have a pull apart scrap yard do the dirty work for you.

It’ll bolt right on, but I believe the wire harness is different. U won’t be able to plug in and get any of the power mirror or defrosting functions. I would pick up the cheap one and look at swapping the internals from your damaged mirror into the new housing. If it’s not too badly damaged
