Door locks with ignition power only
Hey everyone, I recently purchased an '01 2GS that needed a lot of TLC. I replaced all four door lock actuators and trained the master key remote (all of which didn't originally work). Everything seems to be working well except my rear passenger power door lock only works with ignition power. I checked the fuses, tried swapping MPX boxes, rechecked the connectors, but still can't get it to work unless it has ignition power. I can lock/unlock the remaining three doors and arm the car alarm regardless if the rear passenger door is open/closed or locked/unlocked. Any ideas what the issue is and how to fix it? Thanks!

Where did you get the actuators? And what brand? I know some people have had issues with the sets you find for cheap on eBay and Amazon. Might try another passenger rear actuator if its a cheapo one. Although it does sound more like a module or multiplex issue since it only doesn't work with key signal. I think the lesser evil would be the try another actuator though. Maybe the control module just doesn't like what its seeing there.

Thanks for the reply. I got a cheap set from Amazon (A-Premium). I may try another one since the other three work, but if I can narrow the problem down to a multiplex wire harness or box via troubleshooting that'd be ideal. Not sure which points to measure to do that though. Since it's the rear right and still works with ignition power it doesn't bother me too much, but it would be nice to figure out as I've been fixing a lot of things on this vehicle.
