Hi guys I have a 2002 Lexus GS300 that I just bought. It's the sport design with the mark levinson audio but the driver side speaker plays no audio. All the other speakers seem to be working and the balance is set in the middle. I'm wondering where I should look first to fix the problem.

Open the door panel and see whats going on in there..

The speaker has probably just become disconnected, usually if the voice coil is damaged they just sound like crap. So it’s also possible it blew and the past owner just disconnected it. So if you find it disconnected. make sure and give it some volume before putting everything back together. Best to get it all figured out in 1 pass.
Also. If your car has the Mark Levinson system. This is good way to extend the amplifiers life, if you like listening to the music loud. The can overheat real easily and then they’re toast. Leaving you with no sound til you get a replacement amp. This Is a good upgrade, and will save you a couple hundred bucks if you never need to replace it.
