Default Where to find affordable parts

Well I don't usually head over to this forum so much since I'm stuck with an ES.. But my friend wants to get into modding his GS400. Only problem is that he isn't so internet inclined as myself, so I have to to be his proxy on searching for parts. Now my question.. Where does everyone here get their aftermarket parts? He's looking for parts that are affordable... He wants to start with a kit a suspension, so I guess you guys can help out on the information to get 'em cheap. He has no problem doing any installs, he owns a shop here on Guam. He did babygs3's (Manny right?) bodywork a while back.. Speaking of Manny, I always see his car here at the university.. lol SUP MANNY! I'm the one with the run down 96 beige ES.

Kits and more. Steve is definitely a good contact to have for aftermarket (and OEM).

Is there such thing as affordable........?

Some parts are not expensive but also not great quality..... then you got EXPENSIVE (Juntion Produce) but top of the line.

Id rather see someone MOD thier car slowly with top quality parts.

I agree with you on that Robert..

But, it looks like he doesn't mind quality when it comes to body kits.. lol Fitment is not an issue to him apparently, as he has dealt with harder things... I just showed him a $400 dollar full Explosion kit on Ebay and he wants to get it already. To each his own...

Fitment is very important.
Most of the cheap bodykits are replicas of the more expensive kits. Only if the bodyshop that installs the replicas take full responsibility , it would go for such a kit.
These kits may have poor fitment, and may require some experience to fit them. I've seen some of these bodykits in Hong Kong. The final result may be good, but if some parts do not fit, they can easily exchange them in Hong Kong. I do not see that happening with an Ebay kit.

Serrano - steve is the parts manager at Carson Toyota, one of our forum sponsors.

You can reach him via private message on CL at SupraTRD or

The website Carson has doesn't have most of the stuff they can get (www.l-tunedparts.com). Our other CL vendors may also be able to help out, depending on what you're looking for www.lexus-parts.com and www.tmengineering.net .

He actually owns one of the most well known body shops here on Guam so fitment is not a problem.

Thanks for the 411 Dave!
