My P/R/N/D/4/3/2 lights aren't working?....
It's not the lights on the dash, it's the lights next to the actual shift ****, by the arm console.
Has this happened to anyone before? And if so, what was the diagnosis?
Appreciate any replies to this matter
Thx

Most likely a blown fuse. Done it before when I was installing my stereo. That fuse is shared by a couple of other lights (i can't remember exactly which ones..i think one of them is the light on the buttons on the AC pannel..not the actual display..but the tiny letters on the buttons that illuminate..). Are all your other lights working fine?
Take a look at your owner's manual. It will tell you which fuse is responsible for the lights on the shifter. Take the fuse out and see if it's blown. If not, then it could be some other problem.
Good luck.

look on the bright side, at least you don't have to look at the "christmas tree" on your shift gate anymore....at least that's what I call it.
The shift gate and the cheap-looking digital clock are the only two things I do not care for about my GS.

makes me wonder though, anyone ever try sticking a shift boot onto their GS?
