Yep. But that one doesn't require you to lift the engine. Just tilt the tranny. I'm seriously considering letting the dealer do my lower pan though. I get their warranty if it starts to leak again later. But, I still have to check the dipstick tube O'Ring to make sure it's not something simple before I go crazy here. I feel no vibrations through the shift lever which is where I rest my hand on both the cars. Their both 430's and laid out almost identically. But if you have to go through the hassle of raising the motor, you do anything else that needs doing too. I'll replace the tranny mount. But the pan and engine will probably go to a shop. I live in a Condo. So working on cars in the PL is highly discouraged.

OK Latest updates I guess. Lets see. The car had 179K miles when I purchased it. $4K. Silver. Grey interior. Spoiler.
1. Replaced all coolant lines with the OEM Clamps.
2. Changed coolant
3. Replaced all Evap lines up to the PCV Valve with new OEM Clamps.
4. Replaced Timing Belt and Water Pump. (180K miles)
5. Serviced Transmission.
6. Changed Oil and filter.
7. Changed all eight coil packs with OEM Denso. ($55 @Rock Auto versus $190.00 from my local dealer)
8. Changed Bank 1 OS 2 and Bank 2 OS 2. (Wayyy easier to change than on my SC430)
9. Changed Passenger side door lock mechanism. (broken cable remains to be replaced)
10. Changed bent passenger side inner/outer tie Rod.
11. Replaced the Sub speaker in the rear deck.
12. Removed/sent the ECU out to have new keys made because there were no remote keys at time of purchase. Keys have NOT been programmed to the doors yet.
13. Replaced inner plastic fender liners and engine undercover.
14. Inspected the entire drive train and suspension.
Problems I had before were a leaking Oil Pan. Turns out it wasn't the oil pan after all. It was the drivers side Valve cover gasket. This was taken care of during the Timing Belt change. Which I was actually happy about because fixing a pan leak is a pretty monumental task. Repaired several wires going to the coil packs. Looks like heat and age don't treat them well.
Problems I still have. Passenger side front door cable (the black one) needs to be replaced. Then I can program the doors to the keys. Still trying to find a CD player. Nothing at the wrecking yards currently. I still need to service the differential. Not hard at all. Just a huge PITA to get the car up and level to ensure proper filling of the diff. I did not change the Motor Mounts and Transmission mounts because the engine did not need to be lifted to get the oil pan out. so? Mechanically, she is in top notch shape now.

No. No pictures. It is just a standard GS430 in Millennial Silver. It's actually quite boring. But it is still a great car by any standard. I'm one of those "Stock" is best guys. That's the way they designed it yada yada. So, that is my goal. She is just about there. Next, I will be looking at the paint and body. Front fender has a busted tab on the drivers side. Rear fender has been kissed on both corners and the middle but the bumper itself seems fine. Just damaged paint.
I don't have a clue where I saw it. Maybe it was a dream. But I have a mental picture of the car in charcoal gray down the sides with a lighter silver color on top at the body lines and a double yellow pin stripe down the side separating the two colors. I'm almost certain I saw a pic somewhere but don't know where. All I know is the color combo looked bad a$$ed. That is probably the way I am heading next. THEN she will be worthy of pictures.

03 430. Second attempt. Does anyone know how to program the key to the door locks? You Tube etc.?
CD Player is now working. Found an earlier 2000 Model Year at the wrecking yard. Then had to find a cassette in another car which was four dollars. The entire setup was $39.00. But what's weird? I have two CD Screens (selected by the "MODE" push button on the steering wheel) that can be displayed in the interface screen. One is for the 6 Disk CD changer and the second is for a 9 Disk. I have no idea yet what is going on there. But... I am rapidly running out of things to fix.
Mileage was 181443 miles this AM. Average gas mileage is 21.1 mpg. Which is nice because when I first started tracking my mileage in mid October, I was only getting 17.3 mpg. I seem to be up between 25-26 mpg for highway, 18-19 city now.
Rear Diff and Drivers door are the last remaining issues as far as normal use maintenance.
Anyone know where to get OEM Floor Mats? My local dealer says they have been discontinued.
And gas has gone down to only $5.10 a Gallon. Wish that was something to be happy about.

Key programming tutorial is here. You must have the master key already for this to work or you will need to call a locksmith. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...400-430-a.html

Good day to you again Captain. I just wanted to let you know that I finally, got around to programming the remote locks today. And of course it worked. My most humble Thanks and Appreciation.
I would say that it was only a little confusing because I didn't quite understand that the first half of the instructions were written to get the car into the programming mode. And the rest of it was to actually get the car to recognize the lock/unlock function from the key. Once I figured that out, it was a breeze.
Sincerely
Paul
