Anyone else have this with their automatic transmission? So when going about 20-35 mph under 2,000 rpm when the car shifts into 3rd gear and keeping at a pace under 2k rpm the transmission automatically downshifts down to 2nd? It only does this when going slow at traffic speeds and when accelerating to merge on the freeway going faster around 3k rpm it does not occur.

pretty sure it’s normal but it’s been a while since I drove a GS3. If you suddenly accelerate to merge on the highway it’s normal for it to downshift. If your already at 3k rpm’s on the highway there would be no reason for the trans to downshift as your already maintaining speed.
