Ahhh as we suspected. It is roof, rubber trim, then spoiler. So on a black car, the gap won't be noticeable but on a silver or light colored cars the black trim would show up quite clearly.

I guess some people don't like this gap, but I believe my Tom's roof spoiler is the same way.

Thanks for the pics Kola.

Looks great IMO, but on a dark car like others have said.

Well its a good alternative for a dark colored car but for us PDWers I'll stick with the UGO The fitment does look good though.....

Thanks for the pics kola.

Maybe it is in my minds' eye since I saw the unfinished product, but I can still see a bit of the problem areas. It does not seem as bad but the pics are dark and it is still black on black. The test version I saw was against a silver car so the flaws really came out. It is too hard to tell conclusively from the pics.

In any case, it is a moot point to continue the discussion of this spoiler since DSR is coming out with V2. Overall, the spoiler looks good on kola's car and it's a nice change from seeing UGOs and L-Sportlines all the time.

Since Neo mentioned it....what's the status of type 2/version 2 of this DSR roof spoiler? Will it take care of the imperfections of type1/version 1?
