Ahhh as we suspected. It is roof, rubber trim, then spoiler. So on a black car, the gap won't be noticeable but on a silver or light colored cars the black trim would show up quite clearly.
I guess some people don't like this gap, but I believe my Tom's roof spoiler is the same way.

Maybe it is in my minds' eye since I saw the unfinished product, but I can still see a bit of the problem areas. It does not seem as bad but the pics are dark and it is still black on black. The test version I saw was against a silver car so the flaws really came out. It is too hard to tell conclusively from the pics.
In any case, it is a moot point to continue the discussion of this spoiler since DSR is coming out with V2. Overall, the spoiler looks good on kola's car and it's a nice change from seeing UGOs and L-Sportlines all the time.
