It starts towards the top right side of the picture and goes out the bottom left.

I think that metal tube is just a wire with the insulation cut somewhat, I think I remember looking at that. And coincidentally I do have a spare harness, just missing a few connectors I suppose I could rewire mine to those but I really wanted to use it as a last resort lol. I'm scared to take it out wrong and put it back in right. Would I have to worry about redoing timing belt or anything like that?

Order the Electrical Wiring Manual. It has color coded schematics etc. It really does help.

Thanks for the link, just bought it. When I looked last night I saw ones for like 130 and I was like no way I'm paying that.

I have about $800 spent on service manuals. And I can guarantee you they have all paid for themselves. You just can't get by without them. I have also found some errors in printing where Toyota just cut and pasted a section thinking they were the same but not quite. And you could sit in a classroom environment and probably spend five weeks going through all of the information from an entire set. The only ones I don't own are for the various transmissions. But they make all the difference in being able to keep a project moving forward and keeping your sanity! Glad to help.
