Default P0022 and P0300 on GS450h

I really have tried to google this but now i give up.
i have rough idle some times but not all the time.
the codes from Techstream are P0022 Camshaft position "A" - Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 2) and P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
former owner changed 2 pcs VVT valves on the right side of the engine (seen from drivers position). Where/what is "Bank 2"?
i have cleaned the small wire mesh filters on both side oil lines to the VVT valves and cleared the codes but it keeps coming back.
i have bought new spark plug since the ones fitted are not correct (should fit GS450 gen4). Can spark plugs throw P0022 code?

Going through the same problem and I figured I'd link those who stumbled here to a very useful post that saved me so much headache
