Default ABS sensor calibration GS430, 2006

Hello,
Issue: ABS, VSC, TRC, P/S VGRS, AFS errors on my dashboard.

The rear left ABS sensor was damaged so I have done replacement along with 2-pin electric harness as one of the wires was dead.
After replacement the error lights on my dashboard went off for a while (VSC, TRC, ABS, P/S-power steering VGRS error all of them GONE). After 3 minute ride they appeared again.. Same thing happened with rear AFS lights sensor which I also replaced. Things were good right after repair and then after a few miles the error came back again..

I read about zero point calibration in this case which I have not done yet. Is it the issue of coming back DTCs even after replacement of all these sensors?
I put the clip into the OBD plug and the VSC diag on my dashboard shows:
  • VSC Diag 41 - which stands for C1241 / 41
  • VSC Diag 43 - which stands forC1243 / 43
Can anyone confirm that it is needed to perform zero point calibration for my DTCs to disappear? Is it possible to perform this in my car when I don't own any proper OBD interface ?

Thanks in advance.

You need a good scan tool to verify that the wheel speed sensor is working. Did you install an oem sensor or aftermarket? Its also possible the trigger wheel is damaged inside. You wont know unless you plug in a scanner, that will tell you what the sensors are registering.

Well the Abs, Vsc, Trc dtcs are gone after 20 miles cruise after sensor+wire replacement. Gonna check it anyway with techstream as soon as I receive the cable.

However AFS off dtc is still on dashboard but some people reported its dependable on the way you adjust sensors bolts.

AFS has a tiny swing sensor with a rod thats common to break. I had an issue with AFS, to where my pivot motor was an issue. What I did was with the car running, so that the lights adjust properly, I just pulled the AFS fuse and disabled the whole system. No lights on the dash, and no issue with lighting since I removed the fuse with the vehicle running there in the position of normal driving.

Yep its also a solution but after I invested in a new aftermarket AFS sensor Im willing to get it done
