Gs 3000 p2714
Hello, I am having a problem where my car wont shift past 4th gear. If I stomp on the gas pedal and it hits red line then it shifts. I'm going 4k rpm at 80mph. Is this a transmission issue or a solenoid i read the code and it gives me p2714
when i reset the ecu with computer its shift 5 and 6 gears very will about one day or hours I think about solenoid d stuk off
thx ❤️❤️

US spec or Japan spec? You didnt say the year of your lexus the US made 2006 GS300 has ecu issues to where the tranmission module gets damaged. Common issue!
If you have japan spec, Japan spec I dont think they have this issue. If the solenoinds are damaged this is rare issue, but it happens more often with the IS250. Have you ever replaced the transmission fluid? If you never replaced it, then I would do a drain and fill. You drain the transmission fluid and only about 4 liters drain, and you simply replace that with new toyota WS fluid. If on the 1st drain and fill the car seems better, I would do another, and a 3rd and then remove the transmission filter and replace it.
