If theres not error codes then I wouldnt worry about it, more likely those are for the GS460 that runs a different abs system. Also if you look closely the pin clips are missing so there blank
I do have a CHECK VSC light and warning and my dash. I also got a P0420 when scanning (but I’m guessing that is for my catalytic converter).
For catalytic codes check for exhaust leaks in the system. Common issue, especially for AWD they have a design flaw in the mid pipes. To where theres matted packing, with tin covering it over the pipes. This design traps moisture and rots the exhaust tubes. If you have an awd remove the covering on the mid pipe and test for leaks by running the car and having someone at the rear with rags cover the exhaust tips
I have a RWD gs300. Would this still apply? I also heard that Lacquer thinner could potentially fix the issue, what is the opinion on that?
I would still look for exhaust leaks, once you have muffler shop block the tailpipes you should hear hissing or black soot and its good to run your hand on top of the hot tubes you should be able to feel air escaping at leaks.
It actually takes a lot to destroy lexus cats. There pretty strong compared to fords! You would need a pretty bad misfire, and or stuck injectors to put a lot of unburnt fuel inside. There isnt really much you can do to save cats, as the honeycombs melts inside. Once they melt inside nothing can save them. When you take your car to a muffler shop they should be able to test the cats performance. They can take outside temperature and they can test back flow if they have the equipment. Dirty or clogged cats usually happen to diesel engines.
For code P0420, there are many posts on this forum. The search function will help.
I've thrown the code many times on my 2007 GS350 (2GR-FSE engine). I could only eliminate the code by replacing the passenger side, downstream O2 sensor (B1S2). Use only an OEM or genuine Denso...not from Ebay. Definitely check for any exhaust leak on the passenger side. I would also recommend high quality, premium fuel, and injector cleaner. The GS300 had a design flaw and carbon build up was a result. O2 sensors are another casualty.

Good luck.
I agree! The 06 GS300 is a different story with the carbon issue. Every 06 GS300 should do atleast a chemical valves scrub or walnut blast inside the cylinder heads every 80-100k miles. Running issues, lack of power, poor mpg, rough idle, destroy catalytic and o2 sensors etc
