I'm going to attempt to replace my clockspring and angle sensor and I was looking for the torque specs of the steering wheel nut, I read on an LS post that it was 37 pounds, can anyone confirm if it is the same for my 2008 GS450H? I was also wondering if anyone knew the torque spec of the two t30 torx bolts covered by the plastic caps beside the steering column. Any help would be great thanks!

I wouldnt worry about torque spec as its not a crucial bolt. However tight it was removing it, tighten it with similar strength, thats the basic principle I use. If your worried a bolt will back out, a small drop of blue loctite is handy

Alright this is basically the answer im getting everywhere so I guess tight is the torque spec, just picked up some loctite, will report back.

Small drop of blue or temporary strength loctite, many put so much loctite and makes it a huge pain to loosen for the other guy.
