Hi GS folks -

Hope you are all doing well. I have a question on driver-side low-beam head light.
x- 2008 GS 350
x- driver side low-beam head light is not on, but driver side high beam head light is OK.
x- the previous owner told me he has tried with a new bulb, and suspects it is issue with ballast.

By reading some posts - the ballast is embedded in the light assembly, does the ballast unit control both low-beam and high-beam light, or only low-beam light?

x- if the ballast controls both lights, the issue is more like the bulb, which i would try to replace it;
x- i check some post/video to replace the ballast, which seems a bit complicated, and could cost a few hundred bucks in the auto shop. on eBay, an head light assembly is within $300 -$400, might be easy to replace the whole unit?

Ballast is for HID which is low beam.

If you plan to do it yourself, complete headlight is easier, more expensive tho

probably will try to find a good used ballast, or maybe the knock-off from eBay or Amazon...
