Engine Swap
Hi everyone, I was able to get my hands on a 2024 R35 GT-R VR38 3.8L Engine. Originally I was going to sell but thinking about keeping it. My question is does anyone know if the R35 would fit in a 2010 GS450H if anyone knows I'm all ears.

Actually electronics is not that bad with stand alone computers, they do make custom speedometers. The difficult part is finding a bell housing and torque convertor to match the gtr's power. Unless he had a full gtr donor car thats runnings and driving with all running gear, electronics and implanted that into the GS that would be the cheapest best way.
Still a massive headache and wallet drainer, whatever you think it will cost times x3 thats what swaps cost.

To be successful one needs a black box that talks to the old ECM and the new swap ECM. That takes dedication. Otherwise you end up with a track car as it won't pass any inspection requirements.
But ya, starting w a hybrid makes this a nightmare / money pit. The A760 trans is std RWD which is good for roughly 450ft/tq but a better choice would the AA80E / AA81E thats rated north of 700ft/lbs iirc.
